B.Sherman Workshop 

Food52 is an online food-crazed platform and e-commerce site, operating from the heart of New York City. The company focuses on publishing delicious recipes, mouth-watering tutorial videos, as well as selling curated designer kitchenware and goods for the home.                                  

When Food52 outgrew their previous start up office, they worked with B.Sherman Workshop to create their new office headquarters in Chelsea. B. Sherman Workshop designed an interior that “evokes hunger but is also soothing, super-functional as an office and also feels like a home.” as expressed by the co-founder of Food52, Merill Stubbs. Working on a start-up budget the collective design featured open seating arrangement, custom made picnic tables, an eclectic entertaining and gathering space furnished with a mix of high and low furnishings, private phone booths, reading nooks, and cozy-fit conference rooms. However the main focus and heart of the Food52 headquarters is the test kitchen, where the creativity gets cooking, exploring new recipes, and shooting new photos and videos for the web platform.
